MHDSA self-Advocates walk Glendale Raptors out onto the field prior to their game on April 30th MHDSA is proud to partner with the Glendale Raptors Rugby Team. On Saturday, April 30th, MHDSA self-advocates walked the Glendale Raptors out onto the field prior to their big game against The Denver Barbarians. After walking the players onto the field, MHDSA families and friends enjoyed watching the game, eating hot dogs, hamburgers and nachos and spending time socializing with each other and their families. We look forward to working with the Raptors for many years to come and we thank the Raptors for this fun opportunity!

MHDSA hosted our 1st Birthday Card making Party The Glendale Raptors rugby teams (men's and women's) joined MHDSA self advocates on March 23rd to help create and make dozens of birthday cards that we will be sending out to our self advocates to celebrate their birthdays in the coming months. The Raptors sent two players from the men's team (Keith and DeWon) and two players from the women's team (Nina and Liz) to help coordinate the evening and get involved with MHDSA self advocates. The evening was highlighted by many laughs, good food provided by Lenny's Sub Shop, and new friendships being forged.
