Educational Program
BACK
BY POPULAR DEMAND!
Orofacial
Myology
Back by popular demand, Sandra Coulson will be giving another presentation. We are happy to once again offer this exciting program for parents and professionals. Sandra's presentation on March 6 at the MHDSA office filled up so quickly that we had to turn more than 27 people away! She has graciously agreed to give another presentation at the Daniel's
Fund building where we can accommodate everyone.
Orofacial
mycology is therapy which improves facial, tongue, and lip movement,
which in turn improves chewing, swallowing, speech and posture. Sandra R. Coulson, BA, COM, will be our presenter for the
evening. She
received her BA in Speech Therapy and Education from UNC in Greeley.
During her career, she pursued research on Down syndrome under
the famous Bobaths from England. Ms. Coulson holds Certification
from the International Association of Orofacial Myology and has
been in the field for over 35 years.
