Help Us Launch Our New Website Project

Along the lines of the “Chicken Soup” stories, MHDSA would like to inspire the world with our own heartwarming stories and words of wisdom.

Please submit your essay (1500 words or less) along with a photo to robinz@mhdsa.org, or mail to MHDSA, 2121 S. Oneida Street, Suite 600, Denver, CO 80224. Don’t forget to indicate in your email that you give your permission for us to publish your essay and photo on our website or in our newsletter!

Siblings, Grandparents & Friends
Siblings, grandparents and friends are invited to follow the guidelines above for an essay about “How my Brother/Sister/Grandchild/Friend Inspires me.”

Self-Advocates: What I Love About My Life
If you are a self-advocate (an individual with Down syndrome), you are invited to submit an essay about “What I Love About My Life” for possible publication on our website. Please indicate in your email that we have your permission to publish your essay and photo on our website or in our newsletter! Tell the world what you love about your life and what makes you happy.

Please consider taking part in this project! We are really excited about it and we can’t wait to read your stories.
