Seals Colorado, Rocky Mountain Village Camp and The Autism Society
of Colorado are offering "Coming Up for Air," a family camp
weekend on April 18 and 19, 2009. "Coming Up for Air" will be
a retreat for families with children on the autism spectrum.
Come
and learn about respite and experience an overnight camp setting.
Experienced staff will work with each family and their children.
Recreation activities will be designed to support each participant.
Have fun. Enjoy a breath of fresh air with your family. Camp
activities include music, drama, outdoor living skills, horses,
arts and crafts and fishing. Sensory-based activities will encourage
social interaction and communication in a recreational setting.
