Clement
Park is at 7306 W. Bowles Avenue in southwest Littleton,
just two blocks east of Wadsworth Boulevard and Southwest
Plaza Mall.
Please
note: Park rules prohibit dogs in the park. Also, no rollerblades,
skateboards, or bicycles. Strollers are welcome!
Steps
for a Brighter Tomorrow
Buddy
Walk is a 5K (3 mile) walk to promote advocacy and public awareness
of Down syndrome.
This yearly walk was established in 1995 by the National
Down Syndrome Society to promote awareness and inclusion for people
with Down syndrome. It is a wonderful, heartwarming event in which thousands
of people from coast to coast and around the world participate each year!

Your Buddy
Go
online to register or mail the registration form you received
in the mail to MHDSA. Names from both registrations online and
those postmarked by 8/29/08 will be entered in a drawing for
a chance to win an item of your choice from our Buddy Wear merchandise.
The
person with Down Syndrome who has the most pre-registered Buddies
will win a special gift! Be sure and
put your Buddy's name on your registration form — or they
can't win!
