|
| Thank
You to Savannah's Race and the McCarthy's Poker Run |
 |
We wish to express our most sincere appreciation to the organizers, sponsors, participants and volunteers who turned two awareness/fundraising events into spectacular successes on behalf of MHDSA!
2nd
Annual Savannah's Race
We
wish to thank Leah Martin and Laurie Pachl, their families,
volunteers, sponsors, and the teams that participated in
the Race, for carrying out this AMAZING and FUN event -
and for designating MHDSA as the beneficiary of the funds
raised. At the finish ceremony/party, Leah and Laurie presented
MHDSA with a check in the amount of $18,000 to support
our vital programs. Amazing!
McCarthy's
Poker Run
Also,
Heather Boda of McCarthy's Pub, along with CJ's Liquors
and AAa Rentals, organized another FANTASTIC Poker Run
to benefit MHDSA! We are grateful to everyone who made
this event such a huge success. Despite the rain and hail,
the Poker Run raised $5,500 for MHDSA!! Thank you to all
of the participants who weathered the storm.
We at MHDSA are humbled, honored and thrilled to have been
part of these amazing events. Thank you to everyone involved
for your generous support! |

in offering a residential community where both the aging
parent(s) and their adult child with Down syndrome can live
together with 24-hour emergency medical and social support
services on the premises.
Your input is greatly needed. Please click
